Our monthly newsletter program consists of our Vice President, Jace White, and Co-Editor, Maia McKinney, creating an outline of stories for the month and our members interviewing and writing stories about black life on campus. We highlight black students, organizations, and faculty to help uplift the black community at the University of Alabama. We also explore national issues or local stories that inspire. The CABJ Newsletter has it all. The newsletter helps our members develop their journalistic skills and gain writing experience, while also giving others a platform. Since the start of this initiative we have released the newsletter digitally on our website. However, for the first time ever the newsletter will be printed and placed in Reese Phifer Hall for students to have a tangible form of our work.
